These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of www.scrapearmor.com and any products or services offered by Scrape Armor, Inc. (“Scrape Armor,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By visiting the website, creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least the age of majority in your state or place of residence to make a purchase through the website.

By using the website, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Website Use

You may use the website only for lawful purposes.

You may not:

Use the website in violation of applicable law
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website or related systems
Introduce malware, malicious code, or harmful technology
Scrape, reproduce, copy, or exploit website content without authorization
Interfere with the website’s operation or security
Use false information or impersonate another person
Use the website to infringe another party’s rights
Place fraudulent or unauthorized orders

We may suspend or terminate access to the website for conduct that violates these Terms.

3. Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to describe our products accurately. Product photographs, illustrations, specifications, dimensions, finishes, materials, packaging, and colors may vary slightly from the actual product.

Vehicle production changes, aftermarket modifications, prior repairs, manufacturing tolerances, and regional vehicle differences may affect product fitment.

It is your responsibility to confirm that a product is appropriate for your vehicle, application, and intended use before installation.

4. Installation and Vehicle Use

Scrape Armor products must be installed properly and used only for their intended purpose.

Installation may require tools, drilling, fasteners, vehicle disassembly, or professional experience. Product pages and instructions may identify specific installation requirements.

You are responsible for:

Reviewing installation instructions before beginning
Confirming vehicle compatibility
Using appropriate tools and safety equipment
Ensuring all hardware is properly installed and secured
Inspecting the product periodically
Obtaining professional installation when appropriate

Scrape Armor is not responsible for damage caused by improper installation, incorrect fitment, misuse, modification, impact, neglect, failure to follow instructions, or installation on an incompatible vehicle.

Do not operate a vehicle if installation has affected safe vehicle operation.

5. Orders

Submitting an order does not guarantee acceptance.

We may refuse, cancel, limit, or hold an order for reasons including:

Product availability
Pricing or description errors
Suspected fraud
Payment issues
Shipping restrictions
Dealer, reseller, or export activity
Unusually large quantities
Other operational or legal concerns

If we cancel an order after payment has been processed, we will refund the applicable amount to the original payment method.

6. Pricing and Payment

Prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise.

Prices, promotions, product availability, and discounts may change without notice. The price charged will generally be the price shown when the order is submitted, subject to correction of obvious errors.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing and payment information.

Taxes, duties, brokerage charges, import fees, and other government charges may apply and are your responsibility unless expressly stated otherwise.

7. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping estimates are estimates only and are not guaranteed delivery dates.

Production schedules, backorders, carrier delays, weather, supply constraints, customs processing, and other events outside our control may affect shipment or delivery.

Risk of loss and title transfer as provided under applicable law and the terms of the shipping carrier.

You are responsible for providing an accurate and deliverable shipping address. Additional costs caused by an incorrect address, refused delivery, failed delivery, or redirect request may be charged to you.

Inspect packages promptly after delivery and contact us regarding missing, damaged, or incorrect items.

8. Backorders and Preorders

Products described as backordered, made to order, or available for preorder may have extended or changing lead times.

Any stated production or shipping date is an estimate unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.

We may offer you the option to continue waiting, substitute a product, or cancel the affected item. We are not responsible for indirect costs or losses caused by a production or shipping delay.

9. Returns and Exchanges

Returns and exchanges are governed by our Return Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

Return Eligibility

We accept returns within 30 days of product delivery for items that are new, unused, in their original condition, and returned with all original packaging.

Items returned more than 30 days after delivery, or items that are not in their original condition or are missing parts for reasons not caused by our error, are not eligible for return.

Restocking Fee and Shipping Charges

All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee, which will be deducted from the refund.

Original outbound shipping charges are non-refundable. Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.

Refunds

Once a return is received and inspected, we will notify you whether the return has been approved. If approved, the refund, less the restocking fee and any other applicable deductions, will be issued to the original payment method.

Refund processing times may vary. Banks and credit-card providers may require 3 to 10 business days to post an approved refund.

International Returns

For returns shipped from outside the United States, any import duties, taxes, tariffs, customs charges, or related fees incurred by Scrape Armor in connection with the returned shipment will be deducted from the refund.

International customers are responsible for properly declaring and prepaying the return shipment to avoid additional delays or fees.

Exchanges

If you ordered the incorrect kit for your vehicle model or trim, contact info@scrapearmor.com for exchange instructions.

Additional payment, shipping charges, restocking fees, or refunds may apply depending on the products being exchanged and the condition of the returned product.

10. Warranties

Any product warranty is limited to the warranty expressly provided with the product or stated on the applicable product page.

Warranty coverage may not apply to damage caused by:

Improper installation
Incorrect application or fitment
Vehicle modification
Collision, road debris, impact, or misuse
Normal wear and tear
Cosmetic damage
Failure to maintain or inspect the product
Modification of the product
Use for racing, competition, or unintended purposes

Proof of purchase, photographs, product information, vehicle information, or return of the product may be required to evaluate a warranty request.

Except where prohibited by law, implied warranties are limited to the shortest period permitted by applicable law.

11. Promotional Offers

Discounts, coupon codes, promotions, and special offers:

May be limited by date, product, customer, or order
May not be combined unless expressly stated
Have no cash value
May be changed or discontinued
May exclude shipping, taxes, wholesale orders, or selected products

We may cancel or refuse a promotion that is used improperly, fraudulently, or contrary to its stated terms.

12. Email and SMS Communications

When you provide your email address or telephone number, we may send transactional communications relating to orders, customer service, warranties, accounts, and other requested services.

Marketing emails and text messages require the consent applicable to that communication channel.

Consent to receive marketing messages is not a condition of purchase.

Marketing email communications include an unsubscribe mechanism. Marketing SMS communications may be stopped by replying STOP.

Our SMS program is also governed by our SMS Terms and Conditions.

13. User Content

If you submit reviews, photographs, videos, comments, testimonials, installation images, or other content, you represent that:

You own or have permission to provide the content
The content does not violate another party’s rights
The content is accurate to the best of your knowledge
The content is not unlawful, defamatory, misleading, or malicious

You grant Scrape Armor a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, display, distribute, and create derivative works from the content for business, customer-service, educational, and marketing purposes, subject to applicable law.

We are not required to publish or retain submitted content.

14. Intellectual Property

The website and its content, including trademarks, product names, product designs, photographs, graphics, text, videos, instructions, logos, and software, are owned by Scrape Armor or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws.

No ownership rights are transferred to you.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit our website content or product designs without written permission.

15. Third-Party Services and Links

The website may use or link to services operated by third parties, including Shopify, payment processors, shipping carriers, social-media services, advertising services, and other technology providers.

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, security, content, or practices of third-party services.

Your use of a third-party service may be governed by that party’s terms and privacy policy.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not warrant that:

The website will be uninterrupted or error-free
Website information will always be complete or current
Every product will fit every vehicle configuration
The website will be free of viruses or harmful components
Results obtained through the website will meet every expectation

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scrape Armor and its owners, officers, employees, agents, affiliates, suppliers, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, loss of use, vehicle downtime, labor costs, or replacement transportation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from a product, order, or use of the website will not exceed the amount you paid to Scrape Armor for the product or order giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

18. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Scrape Armor and its owners, officers, employees, agents, affiliates, suppliers, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable costs arising from:

Your misuse of the website or products
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of applicable law
Your infringement of another party’s rights
Content you submit
Improper product installation or use

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in King County, Washington, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.

20. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

21. No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that provision or any other right.
